Nepal is in full swing! — Pokhara, Nepal

Pokhara, Nepal

Good morning world :)
Me and Zac are now in Pokhara and it is already our favorite place so far.
We had a great last couple of days in Kathmandu as we managed to get to the old city, a little secluded garden and to a monkey temple right up the side of a valley that gave a view all around Kathmandu and the surrounding mountains. We also met another English traveler who we went to a couple of bars to in the evening including one where a live band were playing Rage against the machine, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd etc which in the middle of Nepal seemed a little odd but hey turned out to be a great night.
We arrived yesterday in the afternoon after another mind blowing coach trip, the views around us just seem to be getting more and more huge and breathtaking, and we are getting the first glimpse at some very big hills (massive understatement).
We had a wander round the city and have found a great hostel with a really friendly family just outside the more touristic area so is great as we've got the views with a little peace and quiet... buuuut everything is within walking distance.
We are setting up a trek on the Annapurna circuit for around14 days which is supposed to be one of the best treks in the world, so we're starting to make some very exited teenage girl noises at the moment.
The only issue is that Zac booted a bloody chair yesterday and we're not sure if he's broken his little toe, all I can say is what a friggin plank. But if all goes to plan we'll be setting off on around the 1st November and come back and chill out in Pokhara for around 10 days, maybe hire some mountain bikes or something.
But that just about sums it up.
Much love
Cameron+Zac x
